Interests/Hobbies/Personal Attributes:

Nina Monet Dismukes, LCPC, LPC

When I am not in work mode, you most likely can find me in the gym lifting, doing Pilates/Yoga, or running for miles outside along the lake! This year, I will complete my third half marathon, and I am thrilled about that! I prioritize my physical health and mental health by carving time out daily to engage in self-care; that is how I try to keep balance in my life. Other self-care activities I enjoy include journaling, meditating, and aroma therapy—
I often have 2-3 candles/incense burning at once in my home – so soothing.
I enjoy traveling the world, and I hope one day I make it to an African safari because I love wild animals – giraffes and elephants make me happy. I absolutely love plants and watching them grow. My Fiddle-Leaf Fig Tree is twice my height. It is pretty spectacular. Healthy and thriving. My favorite artists is Sade, and my most played song by her is “Kiss of Life”—but realistically I love all of her music. I find pleasure in eating a plant-based diet most days, but on the days that I do not, I love a homemade sweet treat. Spending quality time with my loved ones is also a way I recharge. I especially love going to my Lulabears house aka my grandmother’s house. “On every occasion there, my soul is replenished. I have an Australian Labradoodle named T’Challa (yes, from Black Panther!)”
Who brings me so much joy. He is a spoiled brat (I wonder who is to blame for that?!). I am an October baby and a true Scorpio, so please, roll out the red carpet.
