In my area of expertise, I have had involvement with a diverse group of clients of all different ages, religious backgrounds, sexual and gender identities, and races/ethnicities. It has been such a pleasure to provide therapy to people who look like me and people who are quite different in all respects. I believe that this diversity of perspectives and experiences is the most rewarding part of my job. I know that everyone hasn’t had the opportunity to be in spaces where differences are embraced and accepted, so I go out of my way to make sure all of my clients are not only heard but also that they are seen. Throughout my career I have been a very flexible and versatile therapist. I meet each client where they are based on their different needs. What may work for you may not work for the next client and so on. Individuality, transparency, and authenticity are among my favorite words. I apply them in my work, and I apply them in my life with my own relationships and loved ones! Without these things, we cannot build rapport, trustor a healthy relationship.

“I have had several sessions with Nina now and am so appreciative of her approach to therapy. I feel really listened to. Nina is already making connections and circling back to things from previous sessions in a specific and thoughtful way. She asks probing questions and is very easy to talk to. I look forward to building a deeper relationship and seeing what kinds of things I am able to tackle with her help"

“Today was only my first visit with Nina and I really loved the experience. She was very welcoming and kid. She listens so that she could get to know you and to also have a clear thought on what to speak about in your next meeting. I would recommend her just based off her being so welcoming and making me feel comfortable and for actually listening and letting my express myself patiently.”
-Tajiah H.
“My sessions with Nina are great! I feel like I can open up and talk about anything with her. She gives good feedback and she’s a good listener. I don’t feel like she’s judging me as I’ve experienced with other therapists. She also has the patient take the lead at the beginning of the session so they have complete control of the conversation. She’s patient and very understanding. Overall a wonderful experience!"
